One of the goals of Chain Tactics is to make a fully onchain game that is just as easy as any traditional game to get started and play.

Getting Started on Testnet


To get started on the Testnet, head to this link and download the Chain Tactics installer at: https://chaintactics.io/

Install the game and any required dependencies included in the package. For now, the game is a Windows only .exe application built on Unity. Future plans include a WebGL version.

Once installed, launch the game by double-clicking the ChainTactics.exe executable in the installation directory. Once in the Main Menu, click “Find Match” to automatically enter the game’s online matchmaking. If an opponent is found within a minute, the game will commence. Otherwise, the player needs to opt to queue again.

The main menu also allows to player to adjust settings, and includes a link to this Wiki. Starting from the next page, the Wiki includes all the game rules needed for the player’s road to victory.
